Terms of service

Effective [DATE]. These terms are between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Datagoat"). By using datagoat.io, the Datagoat API, the MCP server or the SDKs, you accept them.

The service

Datagoat answers questions about cases from records of past outcomes you provide. Answers are statistical estimates with reasons that describe association, not cause. Datagoat may decline to answer when a record does not support one.

Your data and your responsibilities

• You keep all rights to the data you send. You give Datagoat permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
• You must have the right to send the data, and it must not include health information about identifiable people, payment card or bank account numbers, government identifiers, or credentials.
• Answers about people (subject_kind: "person") are decision support. Do not use them as the sole basis for decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on a person, including credit, employment, housing, insurance and access to essential services.
• Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for use of your keys.

Acceptable use

Do not use Datagoat to break the law, to discriminate unlawfully, to attack or overload the service, to probe it for weaknesses without permission, or to resell it as your own.

Prices

Prices are published on the docs. Usage is metered as described there. We will give 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect for existing accounts.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Datagoat available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted. We may change or discontinue features. Breaking API changes are announced in advance.

Disclaimers

Datagoat is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. You decide what to do with an answer.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Datagoat's total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and Datagoat is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Ending

You can stop using Datagoat at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms.
